I stitched this project for my mom for Mother’s Day. I know she loves Suzy’s Zoo, and I’ve already completed some teacher-related mini projects featuring some of the characters. This was probably purchased at the same time (and we’re talking YEARS ago, not months), but put aside and forgotten.
It was always a Mother’s Day tradition when we were kids to give my mom plants and flowers. Flats of them. Then it was my dad’s gift to plant them and make the yard beautiful. I thought it was a cute compromise– a character she loves and some memories of the past 33 Mother’s Days.
I wish I knew what this duck’s name is. I think he’s a cutie.
I did a google search, and as far as I can tell, the little guy’s name is Chuckie Ducken.
